Although we went to HS together I didn’t know him very well then. After reconnecting on FB he embraced me as an old friend and generously shared his cheerful attitude of care & compassion. I know he was an amazing Nurse w/ his nurturing nature!
I was stunned & saddened by his unexpected death. His presence will be missed by SO many, and will serve to remind us of the precious nature of each day on earth. I am confident he will rest in eternal peace.
The best way that I can describe Michael Melton, is that he was AWESOME. A truly loving soul...and was always there with a hug. He was a hugger! I know he will be watching over those he loved and sending strength. He will be missed by all who knew him.
So sorry for such a unexpected Loss.
Sending Love and Prayers. I have shex many tears and know Michael will be gone but never forgotten.
Love to all

Michael was a part of our family from the day he met Amy. He was there to help console Amy when Mum Mum passed and when Grandad passed. He accompanied her to Arlington and joined in our family laying them both to rest. He always had a smile and a happy hello whenever I say him. I am saddened that his life ended so soon. He left behind a great legacy though and some very good memories for the people who knew and loved him. I hope he says hello to mum and dad when he gets there. They thought he was the very best. From Amy's Aunt Lern, Rest in Peace Dear Michael. You will be very much missed.
I know how painful it is to lose a loved one. Michael will be missed. High school without him would never have been the same. May God be with you and your family during these sad times. Robin
On behalf of Michaels friends here at Memorial Regional Hospital, we have truly lost someone special. He was recognized not only for his dedication to his job but also for his team spirit and fellow feeling. He touched many peoples lives with his humor, his smile, and his pats on the back with words of encouragement. He will always be remebered for his love for people. He was known for being genuinely sweet and kind. He moved and motivated the hearts of many by his humility. Michael was one in a million and will never be forgotten.
Dear Michael... You are going to be missed by so many. You always knew how to make me smile. Thank you for always being my Valentine's Day (online) companion. You had a contagious personality that earned you so many friends. Thank you for showing an unconditional love for Amy Lynn. It was comforting to see such a strong, positive friendship. You left too soon... but that dash mark, between the birth and passing date, is the part of your life everyone will remember. Until we meet again... Sweet sugar, Mikito!!! Robin Bell

Mike old buddy thank you for being you. Not many people have the ability to make others feel better just by entering a room. My friend you had that magic. We go way back and I for one will miss you. Your jovial comments and quick wit was among the best any of us has ever known. Your star is now shining in the sky, and I will look up and see your smiling face forever. Brah as you said many times will be echoed forever. To the Melton Family I pray the good Lord will comfort you at this time. Thank you for sharing Mike with us. He was truly our blessing. God Bless and until we meet again we will try to make this world a better place just like Mike Melton. I love ya Man !
Michael you are and will always be my very best friend 143143BFF. I miss you terribly. I am deeply saddened and struggling but I know how strong I am. You made me a better person and enriched my life and my family’s lives by being there as a support and true friend. I am grateful for the brother sister bond we shared. We were lucky to know eachother. Many laughs, many tears, a lot of relying on one another. We had an unspoken communication. Thank you for being my friend. I love you.
