Prayers and love to Janet and Family, friends, fellow St. Agnes Alumni, and most of all, Brother Marines. The Hennessy's were always special to me and Dot (died in 2010) for these reasons. Another "Hennessy Marine," Frank, was my best friend at St Agnes as well. They both served their Country with Honor and Dignity. Semper Fi, Marines, and God Send.

The Carroll family extends its condolences to Janet, Colleen & Suzanne on the passing of the family patriarch. He was a great man and he now joins, Donald, his brother Ed and Ronan in eternal life. We will always hold in our memories his rendition of the "Wild Colonial Boy" when ever the opportunity called for it, whether at Sullivan's or another gathering place.
He now can get work again as US Marine and to quote from the Marine Hymn with a slight change to the lyrics:
"...If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes,
They will find the streets are guarded
By a new United States Marine.".
Roddy, Bill, Bob & Jim and their families
Deb and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the Hennessy family for their loss. Don and Janet were a great couple even over 60 years ago when, with Don driving, they double dated with myself and Janet's sister, Pat to the drive-in.
